Color and Space

This is my color and space project. The ribbons going across the page are either orange, red and yellow or their cool complements green, blue and purple. The spaces between each are formed using green and red to create ambiguous space between the ribbon. I like this this because it really makes the design pop off the page.

  1. Wow this is the best i have seen so far. You created the allusion of space really well. You also used complementry colors well by mixing them to lessen the intensity. Also i see you put green and red next to eachother to intensify them more. Youalso used color value by making the shade of green lighter as it began to get towards a new color. Really good job on this one.

  2. I really like the color contrast but it would be more appealing to me if the ribbons were in a more exact line and not going off to one side or the other but its a quick fix and you can do it next time without much hassle.

  3. Futhermore, you really put a lot of effort into the allusion of space and you did a interesting job of mixing colors in between the intersecting pieces of ribbon to make a nice affect.

  4. I really like the contrast between cold and warm colors. The artwork really pops out of the page and makes it look amaizng.
